What an Auto Company Thinks of Out of Home

OAAA and Adweek put on a two hour conference  – Elevate Out of Home 2020 – last week consisting of interviews with CMO’s about how their companies use out of home.

OAAA President and CEO Anna Bager asked  Hyundai CMO Angela Zepeda to talk about out of home and she said this.

I have an advertising background.  I think it’s one of the most creative mediums…There’s no better medium in many ways to show gorgeous sheet metal.  There’s nothing like seeing your car up on a big billboard…When we do product launches that’s when we do it the most.  We’ve  wanted to have more established boards in key cities…We’ve used video boards, we’ve used static boards, we’ve done big location boards. We’ve done gas stations…even green vehicles sometimes…We’ve used taxi tops…We’ve done very creative things with static bus boards…Out of home…has so many options available…We love the programmatic aspect of it.  We love…video boards that allow you to change the message frequently.
