What do you think the number one issue is that printing companies deal with?

During the spring, printers struggle to maintain their turnaround times. The industry gets busier and more demanding, which causes backlog and delays in delivery if not properly combatted. This is the time of year where we add a lot of new customers.

Why is fast reliable turnaround important to an outdoor company?

It’s just like Blue Sky’s slogan, Time is Money and Money is Time.

How does a quick predictable turnaround impact my profitability as an outdoor operator?

Say you rent a board for $1,000, which is around $33 per day. If you get your vinyl 3 days faster than usual and post 3 days earlier than scheduled, you could pocket that extra $33 per day (S132), which in some cases would cover your printing costs.

Turnaround time is a big deal for Blue Sky Digital Printing because it is where we can continue to stay ahead of the larger print companies. We upgraded all of our machines last year to ensure we have the fastest printing machines out in the market today. We also stay proactive and implement different shifts to make sure our customers postings are on time during this busy season. Every customer of ours is a priority, big or small.
