Good news if you own a transit advertising company.

• Transit trips rose 9% in the third quarter of 2025 according to the APTA Third Quarter 2025 ridership Report.  Heavy rail lead the way up 16%.
• The same trend is apparent for the first 9 months of 2025.  Transit ridership increased 8% for the first nine months of 2025 versus the same period in 2024.
• Transit ridership is still down from pre-covid levels.  Ridership for the third quarter of 2025 was down 18% from ridership in the third quarter of 2019 prior to covid.
