This Structure is So Unique, It Needs a Guard!

This week’s unique billboard came by way of Andy Goodman, President of AGE Advertising. The back story on getting this updated structure in place is fascinating, but we will save that for a later post.  Today, we introduce you to The Nut Tree Structure located in Vacaville, CA.

The original idea for the Danish Soldiers came from the original owners of the Nut Tree from drawings they had created on the front of the toy store.  The soldiers were incorporated into the original design of the static and digital sign as it evolved into the current off premise digital billboard.

See the before picture. the soldiers were already built into the design and was part of the history of the Nut Tree from the 1950s. It was important to keep the soldiers intact and incorporate them into the new digital billboard design.
