The City of Waco Knows Billboards Helps Tourism

With major construction creating confusion for tourists, the City of Waco TX renewed an annual contract with Lamar Advertising to make it a little easier for tourists to navigate the TXDOT construction on Interstate-35.

The following TV report from KWTX10 provides some detail on the project (pardon the short ad).

For those of you who are HGTV or Chip & Joanna Gaines fans, you know that Waco has leveraged off their success to increase visitors to the city. This is a terrific example of a city that appreciates their local businesses and attractions and knows that the Out of Home industry can be an outstanding partner.  Smart move by the City of Waco.
