Texas bill would limit billboard height to 42.5 feet.

Texomas reports that a group of Texas lawmakers have proposed legislation capping the maximum height for billboards at 42.5 feet.  In February 2019 the Texas Transportation Commission ruled that billboards can be raised up to 85 feet starting in September.  The legislation is in a house committee.  Unlike most pieces of legislation this bill is concise and fits onto one page.  The Texas House held a hearing on the bill yesterday.
