Steele Named Park Outdoor President

Park Outdoor Advertising has named Rick Steele  President and Chief Operating Officer.  Steele has been with Park since October 2016.  Prior to that time he worked for Adams Outdoor as a General Manager. Steele gave an outstanding talk on Curiosity Based Selling at the OAAA 2019 show.  The talk is timeless and worth reviewing.  Billboard Insider talked with Steele about his promotion.

What’s one thing you know now that you wish you knew when you were starting in the out of home business?

I am always amazed at the stability and power of our media. I had no concept of the extra extraordinary influence that effective OOH can have on a client’s business.

What are some of your priorities for the next year?

We are going to continue to focus on self funded investment. Through new digital inventory and static/digital conversions. Because it is self funded, we can be very nimble as we evaluate investment opportunities. Technology and efficiency are also areas of focus. Our team continues to evolve and they are focused on bringing transformative energy and client engagement to their respective market areas each day. Our people make all of our success and they are the most important asset we have.
