This year has been a whirlwind for the Out-of-Home industry, filled with announcements, conferences, presentations, and gatherings. Operators, suppliers, and tech innovators have been coming together to exchange stories, share visions, discuss best practices, and most importantly, network. As the oldest form of media, we collectively strive to capture a larger share of ad buys.

BillboardPlanet has been on the move, covering flights, miles, and perhaps enjoying a cocktail or two along the way. We enjoyed making the most of the opportunity to learn from companies from over 50 countries so far this year as well as get a chance to share our vision and showcase our advancing toolsets. While the journey was demanding, the first six months of this year may have been the best in our history.

Automate, Innovate and Connect

The recurring themes at these events were automation, innovation, and connectivity. These topics dominated every stage and conversation, reflecting our industry’s commitment to securing a larger portion of ad buys for OOH. Tom Goddard’s announcement at the World Out of Home Organization (WOO) confirmed that we are above 5% in total ad buys globally. This is certainly cause for celebration, but it also means it’s time to roll up our flannels and Brooks Brothers and capitalize on this momentum.

At BillboardPlanet, we’ve been diligently working to make our Quantum ERP solution the best in class for OOH media owners. Our focus on automation, innovation, and connectivity aims to streamline the daily workflow of OOH operators both domestically and internationally. By collaborating with top-tier partners and industry leaders, we enhance cooperation and enable our clients to operate more efficiently while integrating cutting-edge third-party technology into our ecosystem. This year, we’ve had the pleasure of working closely with OutdoorLink, Mobilytics, Watchfire, BSV, Broadsign, PlaceExchange, Vistar, Blip, Circle Graphics, and Formetco, to name a few.

Empowering OOH: Quantum’s Breakthrough Advancements

Quantum has introduced more features in the past year than in the previous three combined. These include multiple digital rotary scheduling options, automated digital revenue allocation, new programmatic connections, tools and reporting, an updated menu with notifications and online help, and new, streamlined accounting platform connections. We already have planned releases for the next six months that will make our clients even happier, but we are not sharing just yet. Our commitment to innovation ensures that we remain the fastest-growing software solution in the OOH space.

We eagerly seek new partners, welcome enhancement ideas, and enjoy seeing the smiles on our clients’ faces when they experience the benefits of our solutions. We invite you to reach out, info@billboardplanet.com, to share your best practices and ideas – collaboration is the key to continuous improvement as an industry.
