The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports the Baldwin Park city council approved the construction of six new digital billboards along Interstate 10. The council needed to amend the city zoning code to allow for the digital signs.
The agreement is expected to bring in more than $10 million to the city’s general fund over the next 30 years. The new signs will have one digital face and one static face each.
Bulletin Display worked with the city for two years to get the successful contract in place.
Insider’s take. Another win for the city and the billboard industry. Brings a significant contribution to the city’s resources, not to mention the opportunities to better communicate with residents through messaging & PSA’s. These take some time to put in place, but are worth the investment.
