SEPTA Awards Intersection Nine Year Extension on Transit Advertising Partnership

 

Philadelphia, PA – June 24, 2025– Intersection, an experience-driven out-of-home media and technology company, today announced that it has been awarded a new,  nine-year contract, to sell static and digital advertising for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), the sixth largest transit system in the United States. Partners since 2005, Intersection and SEPTA have had a long history of innovation and industry-leading transit programs.

SEPTA and Intersection have already deployed hundreds of digital station platform screens and digital urban panels outside of station entrances across the system, creating one of the country’s largest digital display networks in transit. In 2018, Intersection launched IxNConnect on the SEPTA system – Intersection’s proprietary software platform that enables transit agencies to manage their digital display networks and customer communications across the entire system. Together, SEPTA and Intersection have also created and deployed many multi-year, muliti-million dollar station naming rights and other long term sponsorship deals across the transit system.
