Road Trip Indianapolis

Insider spent a week in Indianapolis recently.    Insider wants to know why Indy thinks it’s fine to hang spectaculars all over town welcoming out of town groups when it’s impossible to put up digital billboards to serve the local business community.  These spectaculars are great.  They build community spirit and promote groups and businesses.  A digital billboard can do the same thing.

Insider had a great fried chicken dinner with the OAAA’s regulatory expert Myron Laible who was in town for a meeting of highway safety officials.  And yes that’s a vinyl banner in the background welcoming an out of town group.  What a great location for a digital sign.  Imagine if Indy closed off the downtown streets and used a digital sign at this downtown location to stream art like they do at the Baltimore Artscape.

The weather was terrible with high winds which wrecked Insider’s lightweight vinyl posters.  Rob Styacich, you need to write an article on how to keep this from happening.
