The Revere city council will be reviewing a proposal brought by Squire Circle Associates to convert two of their existing billboards to digital signs. According to an article in the Revere Journal the signs are both non-conforming.
The request caught the attention of the Revere Beautification Committee who are pressing the city to enact an ordinance for billboards both digital and traditional. The committees priorities for an ordinance would include caps on the number of digital and traditional billboards as well as a yearly permit fee.
The town council meeting is set for Monday night April 25th.
