Regulatory Roundup: Two disputes in PA

Proposed site for Adams digital billboard at 16 Centre Square in downtown Easton.

The Morning Call reports that the Easton, PA Zoning Hearing board has rejected an appeal by Adams Outdoor Advertising for a 10 by 15 foot digital billboard in Centre Square.  Adams will appeal the decision in Northhampton County Court.  The site’s owner says a billboard is necessary to attract a new business to the building.

TribLive reports that Oliver Outdoor is asking an Allegheny County judge to vacate the Tarenton Zoning Hearing Board’s decision against an application for a two sided digital billboard at 107 E Fourth Avenue in Tarentum, Pennsylvania.  Oliver Outdoor says the town’s zoning code violates the US and PA constitutions.
