Rate This Ad allows a billboard designer to rate a random piece of billboard artwork using the following scale: 1 (not good), 2 (below average), 3 (average), 4 (very good), 5 (great). Then the designer talks about what they may have done differently for outdoor advertising.   • This ad checks all the boxes for the parameters of good outdoor advertising.
  • The text has good contrast with the background for excellent legibility.
  • The selling message is large, as is the logo.
  • The hero shots of the products a large, clear, and easy to identify.
  • Obviously, since there is not directional copy this is not meant to direct the target audience to a specific location, but to tempt their taste buds into awareness of the offer.
  • This ad earns a 5 (great).
