While I have to confess I am not a regular watcher of Shark Tank, Insider did see that our friends at RAREFORM (who we have previously interviewed) had a chance to make their pitch on the show.
RAREFORM, who makes products from repurposed billboard vinyl, managed to attract the interest of investor Kevin O’Leary who offered Alec & Aric Avedissian, the co-founders of RAREFORM, a $300,000, 8% loan for 10% of the business. Pretty steep price to pay for 10% of the business, but if RAREFORM continues to grow and is successful, it might be worth it.
If you are interested in seeing their pitch, Surfline has a story and a YouTube video of the Shark Tank episode.
