Rapid City and Lamar have settled their dispute according to the Black Hills Fox.  Last Monday the Rapid City council authorized the mayor and finance officer to sign a settlement of a billboard dispute with Lamar.  The settlement includes

• A repeal of the city’s ban on digital billboards.

• A reduction in the distance between billboard form 2,000 feet to 1,500 feet.

• Protection of 60 sign credits that Lamar stood to lose.

• A $100,000 payment to lamar.
