The Post Gazette has written an editorial urging the city to respect Lamar’s property rights and end the fight over the Mount Washington sign:  “Property rights are a fundamental right.  The government cannot impose arbitrary restriction on the use of one’s property if that use is legal – and indeed the use has been deemed legal.  It is as simple as that.”  The city is appealing a January Court of Common Pleas decision that reversed a city zoning board’s order that Lamar remove the sign.

Insider’s take:  Seems to Insider like the Mayor is pursuing a personal vendetta against Lamar.  Aren’t there bigger issues he should be worried about?
