Here are some excerpts of a talk by Fotofetch Co-Founder Gary Bamesberger at the IBOUSA show last week.

I’m taking photos today in northern California, Boston, Florida and Texas.  You’re in the visual media business, so are we; getting any photo, anywhere, anytime is our directive.  

You’re telling your customer’s story on a board.  You are missing out if you don’t understand the relevance of your need to tell your story visually as well.

We started 4 years ago when a national outdoor rep needed photos fast at a fair price.  Back then the answer was no.  We can solve your problem.

FotoFetch is a tech company that is in the photo business.  Everyone has a camera now with smartphones.  We emphasize and use cell phones at times.  But most of the photos are higher end.  Sometimes drones, sometimes photoshoots.  Taking photos of digital boards is not easy and we understand that too.

You login to  FotoFetch and create an account.  You input a GPS location, who the advertiser is and what sort of shot you want.  Approach shot, glamour shot.   The base price is $38 for a cell phone picture.

The website shows a history of your jobs.  There’s a hyperlink there so you can send links to your customers.  It gets you out of the we transfer, dropbox world or the world where you have to store photos on our computer.  You can add large batch jobs via a spreadsheet.

We do photo sheets, we do glamour shots.  Whatever you need.

We started with an operator on the West Coast.  We’ve done work with Lamar, Outfront, Billups, Adkom, Adomni, Integration Media

What is our turnaround?  A week or two for new markets.  Our goal is 3 days.
