Place Exchange has issued the H2 2023 Programmatic OOH Trends Report. The highlights:
- Out of home programmatic CPM’s grew from $7.14 in the first half of 2023 to $7.24 in the second half of 2023. Billboard Insider notes that this is above the average cpm of about $5 for the out of home industry as a whole.
- The top 3 programmatic out of home categories were food/drink, personal finance and health/fitness. They accounted for half of the spend.
- Unfortunately, the report doesn’t contain the stat we all want to know: if out of home programmatic spending increased and by how much.
