New Transit/Airport Deals for Clear Channel and Gateway

Two new transit/airport advertising deals have been announced.

MSP_Concourse-Zeus-21-348x180Clear Channel Outdoor has signed a 10 year agreement to take over Minneapolis Airport advertising from JCDecaux.   Clear Channel previously sold ads in Terminal G while JCDecaux sold ads in the rest of the airport.  At the end of July Clear Channel will begin adding more video screens at the airport.  You can read Clear Channel’s press release here and a StarTribune article here.

Screen Shot 2016-06-29 at 8.54.57 PMGateway Outdoor Advertising has expanded into Nassau County via a Partnership with NICE Transit.  NICE transit includes 308 Fixed Route buses and 98 County Transit vehicles, while Suffolk County has a total of 157 buses available for advertising. Vehicles in both markets are available for a variety of advertising including Full Wrap, Partial Wraps, Kings, Queens, Tails, and interior ads.Gateway is now the exclusive provider of advertising in Long Island on both Suffolk County Transit and Nassau County transit systems.In addition to Nassau and Suffolk County, NY Transit systems, Gateway Outdoor Advertising also handles bus, bus shelter, and kiosk advertising in 17 other markets including Birmingham, AL, Charleston, WV, The State of Delaware, Fairfax County Virginia, 11 County bus systems in New Jersey, Memphis, TN, State College, PA, and Westchester County, NY.
