Some interesting reads this week:

The Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission wants to prohibit athletes and celebrities from appearing in ads promoting gambling.  Gambling companies have been using celebrities and athletes to promote gambling on Ontario billboards.

 

Autonomous cars continue to move two steps forward, one step backwards.  A recent backward step. Protesters using traffic cones to disable robo-taxis.  Stanford Law Blog has an interview with tort law expert Robert Rabin about liability and autonomous vehicles.  He says there will be fewer negligence lawsuit claims and more product defect claims as autonomous vehicles spread.
