Tell us a little about your plant?

We have 554 structures covering six states along the gulf of America then north to Tennessee.

What do you use Outdoorlink controllers for?

We use Outdoor link’s controllers to control lighting schedules on our signs primarily we also have them on some of our digital displays, the additional benefit for a company spread out like us and also decentralized is that we can monitor power outages, bulb/ballast replacement needs, and low voltage on each location through their portal.  This greatly reduces the need and cost of sending someone to a site on a troubleshooting mission.  We can give good information to the crew so they can know what to material to take with them which reduces the second trip for the same repair.

What was the install like?

Installation isn’t bad, I’ve trained installers to do it.  Outdoor link has been great about sending crews to do complete installations and upgrades of entire areas, and they are scary fast.

What have been the benefits to your company?

One of the benefits of past the operations point of view that I outlined earlier is that the sales staff and customer can be provided with proof of performance broken down by day.  This has been used a number of times to verify to the client that they are getting what they are paying for, and if they need additional lighting, we can make that change if a few seconds.
