Main Street Outdoor Acquires Georgia-based Arthur Outdoor

ROME, Ga. – Georgia-based Arthur Outdoor announced today the sale of its Outdoor Advertising Assets to Main Street Outdoor, an out-of-home advertising company based in Cartersville.

The deal includes static and digital assets of Pender Outdoor. Arthur and Pender’s assets were concentrated in Rome/Floyd County, north of Atlanta. The partners of Arthur Outdoor represented Pender Outdoor in the transaction. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Arthur Outdoor was co-founded in 2017 by James Arthur Douglas and Samuel Douglas, brothers from Rome. James, Head of Operation and Sales, said the divestiture made sense for the company.

“Arthur Outdoor was built to serve our local businesses. Many of our clients never considered billboard advertising until working with Arthur, as our larger competitors required steeper rates. Our assets are in good hands with Main Street Outdoor. Thanks to Chase Rierson, Hunter Horton, and Trent Frix for seeing the potential in what we have built. We admire your vision and will champion your continued growth from the sidelines.” – James Douglas

Hunter Horton of Main Street Outdoor commented on the benefits of the acquisition for his company, which has been acquiring new assets and expanding its footprint within Northwest Georgia.

“The biggest advantage this acquisition brings is the way in which we can serve the marketplace. From starting out with one structure to now being able to provide over 80 faces, we feel as if we can compete and start to make a difference. It was a pleasure working with Pender and Arthur Outdoor and we can’t thank them enough for the opportunity!” – Hunter Horton

Brumlow, Corwin & Delashmit, P.C. served as legal counsel to Main Street Outdoor.
