Magna Global has issued its USA ad revenue forecast for 2015-2017. Here’s a summary of the findings.
- Outdoor will grow by 3.3% in 2016 and 2.9% in 2017. This is well in excess of US GDP which grew 0.8% per annum in the first quarter of 2016 and 1.4% per annum in the second quarter of 2016.
- Despite well publicized problems with ad fraud, digital ad spending grows at a double digit rate.
- Local TV, print and radio revenues continue to decline.
