A message of community support is soaring high above the streets of Milwaukee.  It has some people wondering who is behind the “Love Milwaukee” message that is popping up on electronic billboards all over the area.

It’s the work of the company who own the billboards, Lamar Advertising. A spokesperson explained the company launched the campaign recently as a simple message of support for a city rocked by recent violence.

Lamar said it plans to keep the message in rotation on electronic billboards all over the area for the next several days.
