Lind Media Celebrates 35 Years With “35 Acts of Kindness” Campaign

Richland County, OH – In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Lind Media Company is proud to announce the launch of its “35 Acts of Kindness” campaign—a heartfelt initiative aimed at giving back to the Ohio communities that have supported the company’s growth and success for over three decades.

This campaign will be carried out through Lind Cares, the company’s community outreach program focused on making a positive, local impact. Through Lind Cares, Lind Media is turning gratitude into action—delivering meaningful support and service across the areas we proudly serve.

Established in July of 1991, Lind Media has grown into one of Ohio’s leading independent billboard companies, serving numerous markets across the state. This milestone is not only a testament to the company’s dedication to quality outdoor advertising, but more importantly, to the unwavering support of the communities they serve. As a way of expressing their sincere appreciation, Lind Media is embarking on a year-long campaign of giving—35 meaningful acts of service or donation to benefit local organizations, nonprofits, and community causes.

“We wouldn’t be where we are today without the people and businesses of Ohio,” said Maura Siegenthaler, CEO of Lind Media Company. “For 35 years, our communities have helped us grow, and it’s only right that we show our appreciation in a way that gives back directly to them.”

The “35 Acts of Kindness” campaign will focus on a range of charitable efforts, from supporting animal shelters and food banks to helping schools, athletic organizations, and local nonprofits. Each act will be thoughtfully chosen through the Lind Cares program, tailored to meet the specific needs of the communities Lind Media serves—reinforcing the company’s commitment to being not just a business, but a good neighbor.

To kick off the campaign, Lind Media proudly donated a four-week run of free advertising space across five of its Richland County digital billboards to the Humane Society of Richland County. These billboards are being used to promote cat adoption, raising visibility and support for the shelter’s mission to care for and find loving homes for local animals in need.

“The Humane Society was a natural choice to launch this campaign,” said Brenna Pounds, Marketing & HR Specialist at Lind Media and project organizer. “Their work impacts many lives in Richland County—both human and animal—and we hope this increased visibility helps them find forever homes for the animals in their care.”

The donation is already generating community buzz online, with multiple people sharing Lind Media’s post featuring the donated ad space. This is just the beginning, as Lind Media plans to continue rolling out new acts of kindness over the coming weeks, ensuring that each of its markets receives meaningful support and positive impact.

As Lind Media reflects on 35 years in business, this campaign marks a meaningful step forward—one that’s grounded in the relationships, trust, and community spirit that have defined the company’s journey.

“We’ve built more than just billboards—we’ve built relationships,” said Siegenthaler. “The ‘35 Acts of Kindness’ campaign is our way of saying thank you for 35 years of support. And we look forward to serving these communities for many more years to come.”
