The Mansfield News Journal reports that Lind Media announced that they have acquired over 500 billboards in the Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati markets. Also included are assets in Richland, Ashland, Crawford, Morrow Marion, Wayne, Knox, Fayette and Clinton counties. Lind Media Company, organized in 1991 by John L Siegenthaler, operates over 1,300 billboards in 27 Ohio and Indiana counties.
When Insider asked John Sigenthaler about the acquisition he had the following comment: “We very much anticipate future acquisitions that make sense for us.Our SignSpring division continues to grow and, I feel, we are balancing opportunities in both businesses without neglecting the other.”
Insiders take: This appears to be a great fit for Lind Outdoor who already is operating in the listed counties.
