Yesterday, Billboard Insider broke the news that Digital Outdoor Advertising and In-Color Media Group were joining forces.  Billboard Insider talked with Christine Lanziano, President, Digital Outdoor Advertising and Catherine Williams, President of In-Color Media Group about the venture.

What lead to your collaboration?

The story of how we united is truly remarkable. The journey began over a decade ago when Christine and Larry were establishing their Digital Outdoor Advertising network. When they walked into the small OOH company where I was working at the time, we immediately connected. They were grounded, innovative individuals with a passion for excellence. Collaborating with them was a thrilling prospect, and their first project, an expansive and inventive digital campaign for ABC, left me in awe. Our friendship blossomed, and I admired Christine’s steadfast determination to build strong connections with her vendors and clients.

As Digital Outdoor Advertising flourished over the years, it seemed inevitable that Christine would come across my LinkedIn post detailing my decision to launch my own OOH company. She contacted me to learn more about my objectives and aspirations. It soon became clear that we shared similar visions and goals as female business owners, and the stars had aligned for us to join forces. As I embark on my venture with In-Color Media Group, I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the esteemed team at Digital Outdoor Advertising.

How will your alliance help an out of home advertising company.

Our partnership will enable us to expand our reach to new audiences and create new opportunities to increase revenue to our network of independent billboard operators across the United States.

Our ultimate goal is to give the independent operators the ability to improve their bottom line by benefiting from an additional revenue stream. 

What kinds of out of home clients are you seeking?

Having worked with some of the top brands in the industry, we bring a wealth of experience in delivering successful OOH campaigns. With a national presence, we are well-equipped to tailor our proposals to meet the unique marketing requirements of our agency partners and their clients, regardless of the campaign’s size and scale.

We just finished a round of spring out of home trade shows.  What were your impressions?
 
To put it simply, the outlook for OOH is positive!  It is one of the fastest growing channels as more advertisers realize the power to break through the clutter and effectively reach consumers. When you look at the good things happening with out-of-home, especially when compared with the challenges other media are facing, it’s great timing for us to work together in expanding and reinforcing our presence as women and diverse-owned businesses in our industry.
