Lamar Acquires Digital Conversion Sites in Phoenix from Arrington Outdoor Advertising

Phoenix, AZ – Arrington Outdoor Advertising announced today the divestiture of digital conversion sites to Lamar Advertising. The structures are located in Mesa and Tempe on Loop 202 at Scottsdale Road and Country Club Drive. Drachman M&A Co. represented seller Arrington Outdoor in the transaction. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Phoenix was an attractive investment for us as it had many similar growth statistics to Dallas-Fort Worth where we operate approximately 750 displays across the metroplex. These signs were excellent performers, and we know Lamar will do very well with them. We look forward to turning our complete focus back to our great assets in Texas,” said Arrington Outdoor Managing Partner Mike Wolverton.

Drachman M&A Co. CEO, Max Drachman, mentioned digital OOH is continuing its value ascension in the advertising marketplace.

“Much of the growth we are seeing in OOH is in digital. Digital is a key driver for OOH to gain share as it is a dynamic and aesthetically pleasing channel for brands to reach their audience. These locations provide excellent coverage to the high-traffic 202 with favorable consumer demographics.”
