In addition to the Paycheck Protection help, and in addition to the individual checks that have arrived to many out of home workers, Congress is looking into allowing businesses to expense updates to workplaces…Transit, which has been hard hit by this crisis is seeking additional help since ridership has been severely impacted…OAAA is working with allies in other media to boost demand for advertising…OAAA and other media…are making the point that ad spending by government is a form of stimulus. We’re making the related point to Congress and the White House that out of home is an effective communicator for government…On a related matter we’re taking a close look at the ad spend by the US Census. The current advertising plan for the 2020 Census was created and signed off in 2016…everyone would agree that the circumstances have changed.
