Jean-Claude Decaux, founder of the outdoor and transit advertising company JCDecaux has died at age 78.  Decaux handed control of the company to his son in 2000.

JCDecaux operates 491,950 street furniture faces, 207,260 billboard faces, 379,060 transit faces and 41,470 airport faces in 56 countries.
