The Inrix US National Traffic Volume Synopsis shows traffic continues to rebound. Here are some of the highlights for the week ended April 24.
- Nationwide travel improved to 59% of normal for the week ended April 24 versus 54% of normal for the week ended April 17.
- Long haul trucking was 91% of normal for the week ended April 24 versus 97% of normal for the week ended April 17.
- Passenger traffic increased in every state. Rhode Island had the lowest weekly (up 0.5%). Minnesota has the largest weekly increase (up 19%).
Insider’s take: The Adquick, Inrix and Geopath data all show the same thing. Traffic volumes rebounding from covid-19 lows. More traffic means more economic activity and more impressions. Make sure your clients know this.
