Democrat and Chronicle reports that an iconic Rochester billboard at Main and Clinton is coming down. Lamar owns the billboard and had a perpetual easement at the site. Lamar agreed to remove the Main and Clinton billboard in order to get a variance approved for a digital billboard at 687 Lee Road along the I-390 corridor. The Main and Clinton billboard sits in the middle of a block which is under restoration.
