AJC.com reports that a digital billboard has been removed after the city of Dunwoody, GA won a lawsuit over the sign.
Dunwoody argued that the billboard at the intersection of I-285 and North Peachtree Road didn’t comply with a judge’s 2008 order that signs had to remain as presently constructed. The city later adopted a ordinance prohibiting LED signs and issued a citation to the owner of the billboard.
The Georgia Supreme Court declined to intervene in March after the Georgia Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the city in November.
