Visible Outdoor Advertising owns and operates 13 structures with 25 faces (2 digital) in Raleigh, Jacksonville and Greensboro, North Carolina.  Owner, Joseph Stancil, has over 20 years experience in the Outdoor Advertising Industry from DOT permitting then Sales into developing his first billboard in 2007. Since then he has constructed Static & Digital Billboards throughout NC serving the Jacksonville, Fayetteville, Raleigh, Sanford, Greensboro and Winston Salem markets.

In April 2024, Visible installed Clemmons, North Carolina’s first digital billboard, after working with the city to clear up municipal zoning ordinance discrepancies.  Stancil installed a Daktronics digital.   “Our Daktronics rep is Matt Newton, who I have known for many years,” says Stancil. “His expert testimony at city meetings and then later in the court process enabled my lawyer to get not only the permit for the billboard but also the digital permit.”
