View Outdoor operates a billboard plant with over 600 locations in Indiana, 350 in downtown Chicago and 150 in Central Florida.  The company was founded by Dean White in 2004.  Pete Schroeder is President. Rob Hoobler is VP of the Chicago office Matt Felder is VP Real Estate and Leasing. View Outdoor is an operator associate in the IBOUSA and a member of the OAAA.  Insider talked with President Pete Schroeder, a 31 year veteran of the out of home business.

How did you enter the out of home business.

I started with Whiteco in 1981. After Mr White sold in ‘98, the decision was made to re-enter OOH IN 2004. 90% of our footprint has been internally developed.

Minimally. We were very aggressive from the start with us contacting our customers instead of waiting for them to contact us. We were flexible in working with impacted businesses and helping them thru the challenges. That has helped tremendously in solidifying the trust and relationships.

We have almost 25 in Indiana and a few in Florida. We use both Watchfire and Formetco.
