TDO stands for Toledo Detroit Outdoor Advertising.  The firm was founded in 2015 and operates more than 76 total billboard faces including 23 digital billboard faces.  The largest concentration of billboards is in Toledo, Ohio and SE Michigan.  TDO has several account executives on the sales team. Lafe Schneider is TDO’s President.  A great looking TDO billboard is also Signbird’s location of the week today.

Lafe, how did you get into the out of home business? 

I started in the OOH business during the summer of my junior year in college as I was hired by Billy Long and Phil Vasquez as an intern for one year at CBS Outdoor in the Pompano, FL office. I simply fell in love with the business/industry. Upon graduation I was hired as an account executive. I’m forever grateful for the internship that I received as I learned so much about the industry as a whole.

What’s new since we talked last?

We have been extremely busy adding new digitals to our footprint in both Michigan and in Ohio. We are excited for 2023 as we will be adding even more.

Whose digital billboards do you use?

We use Electro-Matic and Formetco.

Who handles your vinyl?

We have been using Camel City Posters for the last several years and the experience has been bar none. Allison Holtz whom we personally work with has been fantastic. We typically receive the contract within 30 minutes or less for every order. I highly recommend Camel City Posters to any OOH company.
