How did Saline get into the out-of-home advertising business?
Saline Signs entered the out-of-home advertising industry in 2012 with the purchase of several local billboards as investment opportunities. As additional locations were added over time, Saline Signs recognized a clear opportunity to expand beyond ownership and take a more active role in the market. In 2019 and 2020, Saline Signs made the strategic decision to shift from acquiring existing structures to designing, constructing, and operating its own billboard inventory. That transition allowed Saline Signs to have greater control over quality, placement, and long-term growth. Since then, Saline Signs has doubled its footprint and continues to focus on responsible, sustainable expansion.
What’s new at the company over the past year?
Over the past year, Saline Signs has continued to prioritize a customer-friendly approach to doing business. One of the most significant improvements has been the expansion of the Saline Signs interactive website, which allows clients to browse available inventory, view location photos, submit inquiries, and complete payments online. Saline Signs believes its customers are the foundation of the company’s success. In addition to providing advertising space, Saline Signs actively promotes clients across various social media platforms to help increase their visibility and strengthen community connections.
Whose digital signs do you use and what have you learned?
Saline Signs partners with Watchfire for its digital display technology. While digital signage can occasionally present technical challenges, Saline Signs has found Watchfire to be responsive and committed to resolving issues efficiently. Through this partnership, Saline Signs has learned that reliable technology and strong vendor support are essential to maintaining high performance standards and delivering consistent value to clients.
