Premiere Outdoor operates a 192 face out of home plant in the following markets: Missoula, Great Falls, Helena and Bozeman.  The company was formed in 1990.  Insider talked with Matt Clyde after he finished a full day of installs.

How did Premiere get involved in the out of home business?

We have been a family owned and operated business for nearly 30 years now.  Premiere was started by my Dad in 1992 with just a few billboards near our home town of St. Regis, Montana.  He grew the company to about 70 faces when I bought him out in 2009.

Tell us about your plant.

Since 2009, I have built the company up to 192 faces in new builds and purchasing a couple other smaller operators.  I have no employees in the company at all and it does get tough at times managing 192 faces on my own, but I enjoy it!.

What impact has covid had on your business?

Covid has had very little to no impact on my company.  In the early months, I had a few clients that needed a break due to them being shut down.  I gave a half dozen or so clients some discounted months for their advertising but it only took roughly 3 months for them all to recover.  I have maintained a 98% fill rate on my boards for the past 3 years and currently stand at 100% full capacity and have no available boards in the entire state.  I’m far more concerned about a potential Biden presidency than I am about the impact of Covid………….
