Brett & Lane, what prompted you to enter the out of home business.

Coming from a background in sales we felt that we could be successful in helping others promote their businesses or causes to their target audience. We wanted to start a company of our own to assist business owners in gaining exposure for their companies and also build mutually beneficial relationships with the local community. After noticing the increase in digital out of home advertising along Georgia roadways we decided to look into the industry as a profession and after doing market research we decided it would be a great fit for us.

What’s new since we talked a couple years ago?
There have been several notable occurrences with our company. Since the start of 2022 we have been focused on strategic growth. Since then we have added 6 digital and 19 static panels to our inventory through means of new developments and acquisitions. This has allowed us to better serve our clients with expansion into four additional counties. My brother and I have also started taking on much more of a hands-on approach to our inventory. We personally handle the install, maintenance and upkeep for our signs. In doing so we have developed a much better understanding for the technical aspects of the sign structures, vinyls, extensions, and digital displays which has helped us considerably as an independent operator.
What are some of your objectives for the coming year?

Our objectives for this year are pretty straightforward. We would like to continue to strategically grow our inventory to allow us to serve more clients over a broader footprint. Professional growth is something we strive for every year as well. Having just 12 years of OOH experience combined between the two of us, it is always important to keep education at the forefront. Last but not least, is to continue to give back to the communities we serve through partnerships with local non-profits. Having the means to assist in dispersing messages to the local community, while also having partners with valuable messages to disperse, makes for a great symbiosis.

Which digital billboard manufacturer did you use and why?
After careful consideration and multiple facility tours we decided to go with Daktronics. Their product manufacturing and testing, as well as their dedication to research and development were second to none and they were exceptional to work with throughout the entire process. Our sales representative was always available when we had questions and was a pleasure to work with. With this being our first digital we really wanted to ensure we had the best product in the market for longevity that was backed by impeccable customer support and we felt Daktronics provided the best fit for us.
