Go Digital was founded in 2021 by Steven Keene. After selling a 100% digital billboard plant based in Louisiana, Steve and partner, Robert Gouthiere, erected 12 new locations in Nashville, TN Montgomery and Troy Alabama.

Go Digital currently operates 20 digital billboard displays and 2 static boards. In 2024, the company acquired 11 permits and erected 10 new locations in 48 days.

Steve and Rob have been in the billboard business since 2017 and currently have multiple locations in the permitting process in multiple states.  Billboard Insider talked with Steve Keene.

How did you enter the out of home business?

After semi-retiring from the Fiber-optic and Cellular business, a friend asked me to help start a digital billboard company. So in 2017 with the help of Robert Dedmon of Daktronics, I was successful in obtaining the last 6 billboard permits issued before a moratorium went into effect. Since then, I have erected 40 digital billboards, all of which have been supplied by Daktronics.
