Big Outdoor owns and operates 618 high profile billboards, wallscapes bulletins and transportation advertising in 11 major US cities. The company was started in 2013. Billboard Insider talked with Ian Rappaport, the company’s Chief Revenue Officer.
What’s new in the past year?
Over the last year, we’ve continued to be hyper focused on our growth strategy. Organically developing premier digital assets in our BIG markets (all of our markets we operate in can be found below in my signature). In addition, continuing to add top tier talent to our offices in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles.
What’s your approach to the automated sales platforms (e.g. Adomni, Adquick, Blip, OneScreen.ai, Place Exchange, Vistar)?
We continue to be educated on all DSPs and SSPs in the automation/programmatic space. Our inventory hasn’t always lended itself to being purchased programmatically. However, as the industry continues to evolve and budgets are to allocated to this strategy – we want to make sure we’re there to capture our share.
