Atomic Enterprises was established in 2010. In 2012, Atomic merged the independent billboards to create the largest independent network of digital billboards in the Central Midwest. Atomic is privately and locally owned in Wichita, Kansas. Their signs are located along some of the busiest thoroughfares in Kansas and Oklahoma.

Atomic Enterprises is owned by Brandon Shuey and Doug Robertson, who also own Fliphound, an automated billboard buying platform.  Insider wrote an article about Fliphound in March 2016.
