Founded by Jane Cutter in 1992, ATA Outdoor was created based on a perceived need that all public transit agencies in New England, with fleets that consisted of 10-44 buses, needed to be networked together so media buyers could easily buy into each market. For over 24 years, ATA has been a premier provider of outdoor advertising services for businesses across northern New England including Transit, Bus Shelters and Billboards.

They currently have 15 transit systems and just under 300 buses under contract.  They also own 3 billboards.
