- The number of higher educational institutions buying out of home has declined over time from 2,500 in 2010 to just over 1,500 in 2022, reflecting a decline in high educational institutions. Colleges and universities, however, used out of home than any other form of advertising in 2022.

- Total out of home spending by high educational institutions has remained stable in excess of $100 million.
