Our industry’s bright future is closely connected to higher education. That’s why FOARE has granted $663,000 in scholarships to over 200 students since 2001. This year, the program will award five general student scholarships and seven named scholarships, each consisting of $5,000.

The scholarships include:

• The Vern and Elaine Clark OOH Advertising Industry “Champion” Scholarship: Recognizes a student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate academic program with a connection to the OOH advertising industry who demonstrates through their academic life, community activities, and career goals the skills and talent that made Vern Clark successful in his efforts.
• The Nancy Fletcher Leadership Scholarship: Awarded to a woman with a specific connection to OOH who has demonstrated leadership qualities and skills.
• The Eric M. Rubin, esq. Scholarship: Awarded to a student currently attending a law school or who has been accepted into a law program and is committed to enroll in a law school.
• The Allman Family Business Development, Marketing, and Sales Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to a student enrolled in a business management or other business related program with a focus on sales, marketing, and business development.
• The Joseph Zukin Jr. Scholarship for Entrepreneurship in America: Presented to any graduate or undergraduate student whose academic record and community activities reflect an entrepreneurial spirit.
• The Ruth Segal Scholarship: Eligible for students studying government affairs, urban affairs, public affairs, or political science.
• The Reagan Family Scholarship: Awarded to a qualified graduate student(s) studying city or urban planning or a similar discipline, preferably enrolled at the University of Utah or the University of Texas. Note: This scholarship requires a separate application, with a deadline of May 10, 2023.
