Clear Channel Airports announced on Wednesday that it has signed a new 10 year agreement with the Honolulu International airport (HNL) to provide a comprehensive digital media program for 10 years. The new deal marks the first in-terminal adverting concession at HNL.
The new advertising program will include iconic, state of the art digital assets and experimental displays with an installation date of May 1, 2017. Some of the new features to the airport’s media network include:
- 20 high def digital screens;
- 6 iconic digital LED screens with a welcome message and sense of place
- Experimental brand displays
- Baggage claim digital network
- Event marketing opportunities for brands
“The new advertising contract at Honolulu International Airport will generate additional revenue, which will help improve our airport facility,” said Ross Higashi, HDOT Airports Division, Deputy Director. “We look forward to working with Clear Channel Airports on this new venture.”
