Choice Media Acquires Mesa Signs in Oklahoma

Mesa Advertising, which provides billboard advertising in Elk City, OK and Clinton, OK, sold to Choice Media effective January 1, 2023.

Choice Media, owned by Brad and Kristie Tooley of Canyon, TX., will celebrate its 31st anniversary this year.

“We continue to be blessed with growth in our billboard company and we are excited to expand our growth in Elk City and the Clinton area,” according to Tooley. Choice Media has a strong presence on I-40, ranging from San Jon, New Mexico, to Elk City, OK. “This quality acquisition is a good fit for us,” said Tooley.

Steven Holloway, former Elk City attorney, established Mesa advertising in 1994. He recently retired and chose Choice Media to continue his outdoor advertising company. “Our business dealings were as warm and friendly as our personal relationship,” said Steven. “I firmly believe Choice Media will be a good corporate citizen for Elk City. They will treat my clients well,” according to Steven.

Choice Media recently modified one of the traditional locations in front of Hibbett Sports for a Digital billboard. Choice Media chose Watchfire to provide the brilliant 16mm display, which is located at the intersection of Pioneer and 3rd St.

Choice Media is an independent billboard company started with nine billboard displays in 1992. Choice Media and its sister billboard companies of Swift Outdoor headquartered in Waco, Texas and Dynamic in Lubbock operates more than 1,000 billboard displays across Texas, Eastern New Mexico and Western Oklahoma. The combined companies operate more than 50 digital displays.

Choice Media sister companies include ownership by Tooley’s son, Kris and wife Brooke in Waco; daughter Shanna and her husband Ty Jones of Lubbock and Doug Cowan, longtime Choice General Manager.
