The Demopolis Times reports that the Demopolis, AL City council has approved a zoning change to allow digital billboards in the city.  The first digital sign will go up at Parr’s Chevron at the intersection of Highway 80 East and Highway 43.

75 Foot High Billboards are Vetoed

A proposal to to revise a Villa Rica, Georgia sign ordinance was vetoed by the Mayor.  The Times Georgian reports that a proposal to increase the height of billboards to 75 feet to match the ordinance in nearby Marietta was presented to allow for better visibility to cars along Interstate 20.
