If you’re driving through a small town in Indiana chances are you’ll see a good looking Burkhart steel monopole bracketing each end of town and another Burkhart monopole strategically placed in the middle of town.  Burkhart was started by Charles B Burkhart in 1964 when he placed “I believe in South Bend” signs up around the struggling community.

Today Burkhart operates a poster, bulletin and transit advertising plant which covers 38 counties in Indiana and Illinois.  Burkhart is privately held and run by third generation Burkhart family descendants.
